FLŌ Life Sciences was formed in 2018 by Sam Tan and Royce Lim in Australia, but the inception was much earlier in 2010.
Sam had been working with pharmaceutical manufacture and integrative medicine, spurred by his research and discussions with some of the worlds leading researchers due to his father (Hock Tan Lee) having an extremely rare autoimmune condition called Eosinophilic Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (EGPA or Churg-Strauss Syndrome), that causes inflammation and vasoconstriction.

While many therapies were attempted, unfortunately Hock succumbed to the disease in 2015. One of the most beneficial therapies prior to his death, was the consumption of Turmeric Extract, through recommendation of an Ayurvedic Pharmacologist.
While the Turmeric Extract did provide some benefits to the disease, it took consumption of large amounts to have an effect, and the excessive consumption could cause other unwanted side-effects.
From this experience, Sam decided to work on this issue and over the years continue his research and development that eventually lead to the formulation of QuantumCCM™, a natural Turmeric derivative. The compound code of QuantumCCM™ is QC0428H, named in Hock Tan Lee’s honor, for his birthday 28th of April, 1954.
Sam then decided to form FLŌ Life Sciences in 2018 to develop products and bring the benefits of QuantumCCM™ natural Turmeric Extract to the public.
2019 was a very busy year with formation of industrial design and compound production teams, including the design of our first inhaler products.
In 2020, with the COVID-19 Pandemic, QuantumCCM™ may have found a new use as a comprehensive natural therapeutic, and FLŌ Life Sciences will continue to release new products to the market under the nanoflō brand.
